Originally I wanted to use rollover buttons in my menu but did not know how. Creating the buttons was easy as I have done that before several times for other projects. I have found that printing the screen once you get the button right is a good way to have all the size/color/font info hany for the other buttons. Otherwise you can go insane.

I adding three audio files to my site using and embedded “widget” so the file has it’s own player. Only problem is that the visitor can play all three at once which can sound very odd. These are my own songs so I gave myself permission to use them.

I want to work more in these areas if I can manage the time. I will keep the class materials for future reference and try to keep working on my websites to improve them.

  1. Nice one, i will also explore it.

  2. Yea thats very easy. There are many such softwares available but I really like Dream Weaver for this. You get your buttons within seconds. Although the rollover buttons could be as simple as to change the color on click but people really like flashy looks on rollovers.

Likewise, we can have rollover images as well. In short, if we want to give our web page a flashy, trendy, charming look then we should use the rollovers, whether those are buttons, images or menu items. I am sure if things are implemented in proper manner i.e. colors, design, navigation etc then there are more number of chances that people will have a long visit to your web page.
